Our company successfully won the contract for the construction of two substation facilities ensuring grid connection, including the 132/22 kV transformer substation of the Bodroghalom Solar Park and the MVM ÉMÁSZ substation. In addition to our Substations business unit, our Transmission Lines business unit also actively contributed to the implementation.
During construction, high groundwater levels and prolonged rainfall posed significant technical challenges; however, thanks to appropriately selected solutions, the project was completed successfully and safely.
Our company supplied the equipment and materials required for construction, with the exception of the high-/medium-voltage transformer, which was provided by our client, Spectris Hungary Kft. The project also included the complete civil construction of both substations, covering access roads, reinforced concrete equipment foundations, transformer foundations, buildings, and steel support structures.
From a technological perspective, the following were installed:
- high-voltage switchgear,
- high-voltage instrument transformers,
- medium-voltage switchgear, including full secondary installation.
Following successful inspections and commissioning, the feeding of electricity generated by the solar power plant into the grid has commenced.
DSO substation side:
- installation of grounding grid,
- construction of 1 control building,
- civil and electrical construction of 2 transmission line fields,
- civil and electrical construction of 1 busbar bay,
- installation of indoor and outdoor cabinets,
- laying of secondary cables.
PV substation side:
- installation of grounding grid,
- construction of 1 control building,
- civil and electrical construction of 1 transformer bay,
- installation of indoor and outdoor cabinets,
- laying of secondary cables,
- installation of 22 kV MV metal-enclosed switchgear,
- laying of 22 kV MV cables.
