Our Substations business unit provides comprehensive engineering services in the field of high- and medium-voltage substations, including full-scale design, construction, maintenance, and on-site technical measurements, as well as the development of power plant connections (solar power plants and BESS systems).
Our services are available to both industrial and energy sector clients, whether for reconstruction projects or greenfield investments.
Design and Engineering Services
Substation Design
Substation design is carried out by our colleagues at our sites in Budapest and Felsőzsolca, covering the entire design process of high-, medium-, and low-voltage transformer substations—from feasibility studies through to as-built documentation.
From 2025, our design capabilities have been expanded to include architectural permitting and detailed design, enabling us to provide fully integrated, in-house services alongside electrical technology design.
Since 2016, we have been preparing our primary designs using Primtech 3D software to ensure greater accuracy and improved visualization.
Our key clients include domestic electricity providers, but we also deliver designs for industrial and power generation companies.
Our references in high- and medium-voltage substations cover all electricity supply regions in Hungary.
Substation Construction
Since our establishment in 1997, a core activity of our company has been the design and construction of 132 kV substations.
We have also expanded our activities to include the full maintenance of solar power plant substations.
Our largest clients are domestic electricity providers, and thanks to our extensive experience, we have delivered numerous high- and medium-voltage substations, as well as industrial and power plant facilities.
This includes the grid connection of power plants based on renewable energy sources.
Our activities include:
Civil works, including:
- equipment foundations and steel support structures
- swittchgear and control buildings
- construction of fences and roads
- installation works
- grounding systems and lightning protection
Primary and secondary electrical systems, including:
- conventional air-insulated switchgear
- metal- and gas-insulated switchgear
- protection and control systems
- revenue metering
- auxiliary systems
- maintenance activities
