SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

As a leading player in the green economy, SPIE supports its partners on the path to sustainability while actively reducing its greenhouse gas emissions.

The company is focused on the transition to a low-carbon economy, offering solutions that increase energy efficiency and support sustainable energy production and distribution.

Main areas of activity:

  • Building Services Engineering,
  • Energy Grids and Renewable Energy,
  • as well as eco-mobility infrastructure.

SPIE is also continuously reducing its own environmental footprint by upgrading its fleet to electric, increasing energy efficiency and involving its suppliers in reducing emissions.

SPIE Hungaria Kft. is also increasing the use of electric vehicles in Hungary, and is expanding the charging infrastructure at its sites.

  • Accordingly, 20 electric passenger cars and 2 electric trucks of 3.5 tonnes are available in 2026.
  • A total of 23 electric car chargers are available at our sites.

Two of our sites are powered by sustainable sources.

  • Thanks to our contract with Audax, we use 100% electricity from clean renewable energy production at our Győr site.
  • Our felsőzsolca site is supplied by E.ON with energy from renewable and/or high-efficiency cogeneration.

This will make a significant contribution to reducing our carbon footprint, reducing the environmental impact of our operations and supporting responsible, sustainable operations in the long term.
