Installation of ionity fast charging stations in Hungary

The Network Business Unit has been developing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles for several years. Our experienced team has deployed high-capacity Ionity fast-charging stations in several locations nationwide, providing reliable and fast charging for the growing electric car fleet.

In 2025, the largest Ionity fast-charging station in Eastern Europe was built in Budaörs, in the parking lot of the Tesco department store.

The facility enables the simultaneous high-performance charging of 12 electric vehicles.

At the site we installed five Alpitronic charging units - each capable of serving two vehicles with up to 400 kW of power - as well as two 350 kW Ekoenergetyka chargers.

The investment was commissioned within the same year, establishing the largest Ionity charging station in Eastern Europe.

In addition, on behalf of Ionity, we installed a total of six 350 kW and six 400 kW chargers in Hungary across two locations, Győr and Budaörs in 2025. As a result, IONITY charging stations installed by us are now operating at a total of 10 locations across the country.
